To run a successful WSDC trial event, we collect the following information:
● Registration Data: Name, Surname, email, phone number and dance level.
● WSDC Points Tracking: Your WSDC competitor ID to verify eligibility and record results.
● Payment Information: Processed securely via Internet Banking site – “Swedbank” AS. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
Photography & Videography
By attending Autumn Beat, you acknowledge that:
● Public Recording: The event is held in a public space. Photos and videos of social dancing, workshops, and competitions will be taken.
● Media Usage: These materials may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and future marketing.
● Competition Footage: WSDC trial events often require video recording for judging review or official submission. By competing, you consent to being filmed.
Use of Competition Data
As a WSDC trial event, your competition results (Name, Surname, Rank, and WSDC ID) will be:
● Posted publicly at the event and online in social dance event management service: https://danceconvention.net/
● Shared with the World Swing Dance Council for the purpose of point tracking and official record-keeping.
Third-Party Sharing
We keep your information safe. We only share information with:
● WSDC: For official scoring and trial evaluation.
● Software Provider: Platform used for registration and scoring https://danceconvention.net/
● Our registration employees: For managing your registration and making it smoother.
Updating your information
Please let us know if the personal information which we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.
Policy amendments
Please note that we can make changes and improve our data collecting, usage and protection.
